3 Things I Do Each Day To Remind Myself To Not Be Obsessed With Money

Side-hustles, cryptocurrency, sales funnels, email lists, more views, more reads, more followers… more MONEY.
It’s a drug. It fuels the worst in people (including me).
And for what? So you can have a slightly bigger “already-bigger-than-anyone-could-need” house than the next person? Or the car? Or the clothes? Or the holidays? Or the designer labels?
If you let it, money will rule you. None of us are immune to this virus.
I struggle with this. It is hard. Here are three things I do each day to try to remind myself to step away from the precipice…
I Spend Time With Family
Kids don’t care about money. Correction — they care about it as much as we lead them to. If you’re never there at home (or home but not present) because “you have to work” then guess what that is showing to your kids?
It shows that work (and often therefore money) is more important than family.
I understand some people have to work all hours to make ends meet. I’ve been there. I’m fortunate I’m not in that…
