Admit When You’re Wrong

Anything else is just petty

This is just a cheeky little shortform. I don’t want to earn any money from this, I just need to say it.

No-one is perfect. That means that all of us. ALL. OF. US… from time to time, will get things wrong.

When that happens (not if, when)… just say so. It doesn’t matter how senior you are in an organisation. It doesn’t matter how famous you are. It doesn’t matter how much you will lose face.

Just admit it and say sorry. And if there’s an obvious lesson to learn, then learn it.

Then we can all move on. And life’s better for everyone.

There’s no shame in making a mistake, we all do it. So we all need to admit them when we make them, and we all need to forgive each other.

And that is all.
