CICO does work for some people though. It worked for me (in terms of weight loss, not maintenance) and there must be millions of people over the years who have followed a version of it to lose weight. When it comes to weight loss, there are different ways that "work" for different people. I love your articles where you describe how low-carb has been the only thing that has worked for you, and I just enjoyed reading this thread :

...about a guy who tracked his CICO plan for 90 days as it worked for him. My personal opinion is that it is OK for both to "work". What I'm learning in my own project is that it is about finding your own way.
