It never fails
I’ve cracked the code of Medium. All you have to do is publish an article about earnings in The Illumination.
Seriously. Try it. Thousands of claps, reads (and therefore earnings) will be yours.
It doesn’t have to be long. It doesn’t even need to say anything of any real value. I’ve just read (I know, I know, I shouldn’t have clicked on it… but every once in a while I like to eat the forbidden fruit) an article that consisted of this:
- a basic bit of math (100 divided by 31)
- some vague notions of what other people earn on this platform
- er, that was it
Now, everyone has the right to write what they want on here — that’s the best thing about it. You don’t have to contend with gatekeepers (unless you want to). Just express. And if you can find a readership then good on you.
So, I can’t say the article I read was bad. In fact, it was good, in one very important way. It made me read it. Somewhere, a little green bar has clicked up a notch and a cent or two has gone through Stripe to the person who wrote it.
Mission accomplished. If that’s your mission.
