This is a force we encounter every day. It acts upon us, and those around us, pushing and pulling us in different directions and, without us fully realising, shaping our lives.
And — here’s the crucial bit — it’s available for any of us to use at any time, for free. All it requires is initial effort, a bit of determination and an understanding of how it works.

The Broken Down Car
Back in the 1980’s, cars were not as reliable as they are now.
My Dad took great pride in his car, washing it weekly on our driveway. He took it for regular services, topped it up with oil and even kept a little notebook where he would write down the amount of petrol he had put in at each fill-up, the mileage, and cost.
