Hi Aaron. Thanks for the kind words. “Chosen for distribution” means that your article is shared with and recommended to readers by Medium itself, so it goes beyond your own followers. Apparently in the “good old days” (before my time) this used to lead to a huge uplift in views. Now that uplift is often not big at all, but I guess it’s a nice “badge of honour” to have.
