What’s your issue? The one that keeps coming back without fail, or you keep having to revisit.

For me, it’s my weight.

I’m not huge, but I’m about a stone and a half overweight and that’s where I’ve sat for most of my adult life (apart from one glorious 9 month period when I was at a “healthy weight” and felt on top of the world).

For some it’s money. For others its relationships. Or career. Or confidence. All kinds of stuff.

Everyone has something that trips them up, time and again.

Relentless Failure

Why could I never sort my issue out?

I understood all the details of every diet and every exercise. I could take a decent guess at the calories in any food or drink out there. I had even researched the per-hour calorie burn of every exercise.

I knew the physiological theory.

Mentally speaking, I’d spent months wrestling with my own relationship with food and drink (via a series of 100 articles on this platform).

I’d done the work.

And yet. There I was. Still Stuck. As I had been for years. A stone and a half overweight.
