I Love a Challenge (#2)

So here we go (again)…

I’m a long way into my Medium journey (on the MPP since August 2020 and nearly 600 stories published… though a lot of those were short form), so I like setting myself challenges to keep things fresh.

It’s interesting to test out Medium success theories with real action and see what happens.

In my first challenge, I wrote exclusively in publications for about 11 weeks (that’s how long it took to get one article published in each of the 30-odd publications I’m a writer for).

I chose that first challenge because writing in publications is something that the so-called Medium “experts” recommend as a way to grow views, reads, followers and earnings.

That was testing out a theory that others swear by but I’m not so sure about.

This time is different. This time I’m testing out a theory that I really believe in, as you can tell from my article below:
