It’s Good To Be Rushed (Sometimes)

Speedy work can be good work

Life gets busy, and the time you had nicely planned for a task suddenly shrinks until it’s debatable whether you even have time to complete it at all.

It’s tempting to dump it, move on, and get down about it later.

But, there is value in just getting it done, as quick as you can. In Research & Development there is the concept of the MVP — the Minimum Viable Product. Spend as little time and money as possible on a new prototype product that people can test, before you spend millions developing a dud.

This concept translates. Ideally you’d go to the gym today. But that takes two hours once you factor in travelling, changing, and showering. But you CAN go for a 1 mile walk that takes 15 mins.

Don’t think rushing, think MVP.
