Don’t lose your work
I got into Medium via Ayodeji Awosika. I found an article of his, then couldn’t understand why this Medium thing would only let me read 2 articles for free. I wasn’t going to pay to read articles by any random who fancied a go at writing!

I liked Ayo’s articles, so I found his website to read more (circumventing Medium). I bought his new book on some crazy good value early-bird offer which included a Medium coaching programme, which I did.
And that’s how I ended up writing on Medium.
One of Ayo’s first lessons is — back up your work, don’t leave it only on Medium. It could disappear. Let’s think — big-name writers upset at lowering numbers, management laying off staff, still not in profit.
Yep, back up your work.
