Reaching and then maintaining a healthy weight is, for some of us, a seemingly endless challenge.

You can work so hard and make significant progress. But then as soon as life gets in the way (illness, stress, work, travel, lack of time) those hard-earned results can melt away, leaving you right back where you started.

Or, even worse, further back.

When you are fighting this battle over months, years, decades… even most of a lifetime, you can’t just keep doing the same thing over and over again.

As your life changes, your approach to weight management needs to adapt and shift as well.

As someone who loves innovating, I’m always looking for new ideas and approaches either from the wide world out there… or just from inside my own head.

One new technique I’m trying right now is one I came up with myself and I’m calling it the “clean week” technique.

Weight loss, like anything and everything else, is all in the mind. Something about “clean week” is really working for me and keeping me on track to an extent I’ve rarely experienced before.
