Really enjoyable story. Even before the bit when you heard the TV producer on the radio, I felt as if you hadn't done much wrong. You played by the rules. But I can also see why you felt maybe you had set a bad example. Really glad it all ended well. By the way, we seem to - randomly - have a lot in common. I used to be a radio producer (now I've got my own company doing podcasts and inventing audio tech) and I was also a stay-at-home Dad for a while. Plus, I've always thought it would be cool to go on a TV game show (but haven't got round to it yet).
