Remember when (about 3 years go) we did business in person? We’d commute to the office, have meetings face-to-face and go to conventions.
Then you-know-what happened and everything changed. But now conferences and conventions are back… and they are more important than ever.
That’s because it’s unlikely we will ever return to pre-COVID levels of office attendance and in-person meetings.
So conferences represent a rare, and powerful, opportunity to do business face-to-face and achieve a lot of progress with speed and efficiency.
I’ve attended two major conventions in the last few weeks and had to learn and adapt fast to make the most of them. In this article I share three important lessons I have learnt.
