To Finally Lose Weight You Must Unpick This Thought pattern
Hard to establish, but transformative when in place
It’s getting into the time of year that I call the “pain zone” for losing or maintaining weight.
Cold dark evenings, Halloween, Thanksgiving, pre-Christmas build-up, Christmas itself and New Year.
For the next 3 months there is always an excuse to have a spiced pumpkin latte, huge roast dinners with rich red wine, cosy nights in the pub, shots at the office party and 2 days of carb-binge hangover recovery, chocolate, cakes, pies, champagne… the list goes on.
And, of course, it’s too cold, dark and wet to go out and exercise.
It’s the perfect storm for weight gain, let alone maintaining or even losing weight.
And this all points to the one thought-pattern that we have to unpick, discard and ward off permanently if we want to live at a healthy weight.
I must warn you, it’s not easily done.
But if you can do it, then that January gloom as you realise you can’t fit into the jeans you bought last January (which in turn were just a little roomier than the year before) could be a thing of the past.
