Well done for highlighting this. It's a shame, because learning a language slowly is a real joy. I learned Italian in school over 4 years and when I went on holiday to Italy with my parents (who loved the idea of a free translator) the locals in Tuscany just could not get over a 16 year old Brtish kid speaking Italian with them.
