We’ve Out-Evolved Ourselves
And who knows where we will end up
Us humans are way ahead of our own evolution. We keep inventing things that our brains, and bodies, literally cannot handle.
Processed carbohydrates are not ideal fuels for our bodies. Maybe they will be in a 1000 years. Will we even be eating food then? Perhaps a profit-driven company will have invented a 1-a-day nutritional pill…
Screens, and their social media content are not ideal fuels for our minds, they adversely affect our sleep and mental health. And yet they play an increasing part in our lives.
So, you get reactions. Raw food. Forest school. Tiny examples of humans attempting to reach back to where they are more evolutionarily suited.
It’s in our nature as humans to adapt, survive and thrive. But we are in unchartered territory now because of what we are capable of.
