When Your Life Flashes Before You… Watch
Change works in odd ways. It feels like a ‘now’ phenomenon — something we have to adjust to quickly. But like an ageing wine or a conditioning beer, things happen in the background that we don’t notice.
Until we do.
The last few days, moments of my life — quite random — have popped into my head. It’s the cliched “my life flashed before me” experience, just slower.
I explain it as a release. In a moment of danger, your brain thinks it might have only an instant left to communicate with you. So it plays you the important stuff. People you love. Moments that shaped you.
Something about my current experience (nearly a year of change, like everyone) has told my brain to release. Slowly.
It’s trying to tell me something. I have to watch, and figure out what.
