Yes, I tried 5:2 fasting with 2 x 24hr fasts per week. It was fine as long as everything else went smoothly in my life (which with a young family is pretty rare!) so I found it hard, and that's when I switched to 16:8. But yes, even with those 24hr fasts I did notice some of the reset in terms of appetite. And I'm noticing it again over the course of this project. It's getting easier to do my fasting periods and I seem to want less food overall (though I still have very hungry moments!). Learning the difference between appetite (desire to eat) and hunger (need to eat) has been huge for me.
